My old friend Fittymac sent me and email today, the email wasnt about soccer, it was a music video he wanted me to check out. Fittymac like myself is an avid Arsenal supporter and so replied to email with the one question that every Arsenal supporter has been asking themselves. Wenger in or Wenger out?

It's an absolute joke that we have to run Nacho out at center back. I didn't think they played that awful except for the usual light effort to get back on Defense. De Gea was on his head. Here's my next prediction...big clubs will go after and get the Ox. Alexis is the only other guy who's motor is on high the whole game. If the rest of the team could match the effort of those 2, I think they would be much better. It's just so damn frustrating to not see hardcore effort on defense. Ox reminds me of Barcelona scrambling on D when they lose a ball. Wenger doesn't inspire the squad to play hard both ways on the pitch. He doesn't plan for injuries with the lack of depth. It's a joke and I'm not feeling bad saying, Arsenal needs a reboot with a new Gaffer. Bye Felicia
My Reply:
I agree, the lack of planning and in game tactics, solidifies the fact the Wenger as lost the plot. To think it was going to be acceptable to go into a season with just 2 experienced CB's is insanity especially with the clubs history with injuries, and ESPECIALLY when you sell Vermaelen, and then loan out your only other experienced RB whom you've been grooming to be a starter, Jenkinson. "Wenger In" fans will tell you he bought Chambers as an CB. To me this further illustrates the insanity from Wenger and his blind supporters. So Wenger signs 19yr old Chambers as an a man who according to Wenger can play RB & CB & if need be CDM, even though he's never started or played 2 of 3 positions, and only has 5 starts at RB. Everybody can see he lacks pace at RB, and since everybody including Wenger truly believe his best position is CB, WHY not play him there especially since the team only has 1fit CB, if Monreal who is an experienced SPANISH INTERNATIONAL can fill in at a position he's never played, why can't he fill in at RB and let the kid play CB, or since it was OK to let Jenks go on loan, why not play Bellerin, Wenger obviously thought he was ready to get some time. Unfortunately I can go on and on, and don't get me started on in game tactics, in just the last three games. Yesterday Down 1 nil with about 10 mins to play is not a time to panic and send the kitchen sink forward, especially the slowest man in world football (Mert) and easily get countered for the nail in the coffin. Against Swansea we go down a goal late, Wenger brings on a defender and Sanogo(never scored competitive goal), Poldi doesn't even warm up. Against Anderlecht, while protecting a 1goal lead late he brings on 2 attacking players (Poldi & Rosicky). After all these games Wenger's post match statement "the team was naive", but as it was happening he stood there wiping his nose in an upward motion with the palm of his right hand, looking old and half retarded not shouting any instructions.

Word up! Wipe your fucking nose and act like you know what is needed now! When I see lower table teams fight hard and never slack, I'm done with Wenger's attitude. Like Al Davis, time has passed him by. Iwepo
The funny thing about this correspondence among friends who are Arsenal supporters is this conversation about Wenger in or Wenger out has been going on for the last 6 years at least, and the arguments about whats wrong with the club have all been the same. Don't believe me just go back and read some of your favorite Arsenal bloggers post. Bottom line is this, if you are truly an Arsenal supporter, then any of us would NEVER want Wenger to get fired or fail, he's brought so much joy to all of us, we just want him to see the obvious issues and make some obvious adjustments, thats it, make a change, try something else. Failure to plan is planning to fail, and from the board to the manager, there is no plan, just look at the way Chelsea handled their summer transfer market, there was definitely a plan. In Wenger's case that same old plan that has brought him all is success at Arsenal is tired and outdated, unlike SAF, Wenger has not been able to adapt with the times, and the inability to change is slowly but surely ruining Wenger's legacy at Arsenal.
